Position Title: Civil Litigation Legal Assistant
This role is essential for supporting a dynamic team of attorneys specializing in commercial litigation. The Civil Litigation Legal Assistant will play a critical role in managing various legal tasks, ensuring efficient operations within the firm. Candidates should possess a proactive attitude and the ability to handle responsibilities independently. The position requires strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment. Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 / Year DOE
Civil Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Support 3-4 attorneys in various legal tasks
  • Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and legal documents
  • Manage discovery processes and requests for production
  • Communicate with clients and witnesses effectively
  • Assist in drafting discovery responses, briefs, and motions
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings

Civil Litigation Legal Assistant Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant in civil litigation, primarily in commercial litigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Complex litigation experience preferred
  • Employment law experience is preferred
