Documentation Specialist - Equipment Finance
Naperville, IL - onsite
Commercial Credit Group Inc (CCG) is an independent national commercial equipment finance and leasing company focused on purchase money and refinance transactions in the construction, fleet transportation, waste/environmental and machine tool industries. CCG does equipment financing different than any other lender. We consider the character, collateral and cash flow of the borrower to make our credit decisions, often allowing us to lend money when a bank or captive lender won't. We realize there are ebbs and flows to the business and take the time to listen to the customers' stories. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, CCG has made NC's Mid-Market Fast 40 List for the 12th time.
CCG has an equipment finance Documentation Specialist position available in its Naperville, IL office. The position will offer opportunities to learn all aspects of equipment finance documentation. The chosen candidate will be permanently assigned to the Documentation Department. This position has visibility and interaction with senior management and offers career advancement. We love to promote from within! Career opportunities in the future include more senior departmentation roles.
Responsibilities:
  • Interface with customers, sales team and credit department to ensure documentation is prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reception duties - MCO/CO/Extensions.
  • Lien releases.
  • Ensure all conditions are collected and verified if necessary.
  • Prepare loans for Funding/Booking.
  • Ensure CCG is in a priority lien positions with valid enforceable documents.
  • Collect and organize post-closing documentation.
  • Perform post-closing follow up.

Desired Skills:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.
  • A positive and entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
