Purely Driven.Position SummaryAs the Factory Engineering Manager for our Allentown factory, you?ll support, lead and develop a team of engineers who oversee mechanical, electrical, industrial, environmental and safety system operations. You?ll be responsible for the strategic vision, budget and execution of plant capital projects while coordinating with maintenance and production to resolve plant operational concerns and identify opportunities for continuously improving processes, safety, quality and efficiency. In this factory leadership role, you?ll proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.Primary ResponsibilitiesApply expert understanding of factory operations to effectively engage, leverage and develop engineering personnelCreate and strategically apply the annual capital budget to address equipment maintenance and facility improvementsManage cost, schedule, performance and safety pertaining to engineering staff and capital project executionCoordinate with the Maintenance management team to develop standards, train personnel and incorporate innovations to increase factory efficiency and reduce downtimeOversee external contractors to ensure compliance with all company standards including safety, quality and value of deliverablesPartner with operations leaders to identify areas of opportunity to improve integrated manufacturing processesChampion total productive maintenance (TPM) through management, problem solving and project implementationMaster plant process flows, utility flows, capacities, practices and procedures to ensure factory energy efficiency, environmental prioritization and complianceRequirementsBachelors Degree in engineering or a related field7+ years of progressive engineering experience, including project management and people leadership within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environmentThe approximate yearly pay range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000.
