A College Co-Op (Cooperative Education) is a structured program that integrates classroom learning with practical work experience in a field related to a student’s major. Co-Ops are typically paid positions that allow students to alternate periods of academic study with periods of full-time employment, providing valuable hands-on experience and professional connections. These programs can enhance a student's resume, improve job prospects after graduation, and sometimes even lead to a full-time job offer from the employer.
