Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to manage and maintain the SharePoint environment for the Headquarters - Air Combat Command (ACC) at Langley AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Create, configure, and manage SharePoint sites tailored to user needs.
  • Ensure sites are organized and accessible and facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Manage the architecture, design, development and administration of the organization's SharePoint platform and other collaboration tools.
  • Manage user permissions, ensuring that the right individuals have appropriate access to resources.
  • Create and manage user groups and permissions.
  • Oversee libraries and lists, ensuring that workflows are in place to streamline content management and that data is organized and maintained properly. 
  • Optimize knowledge processes using continuous process improvement techniques to identify, modify workflows and standardize best practices.
  • Implement security measures, manage user access control, and monitor for potential security threats to protect sensitive information stored in SharePoint.
  • Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting issues that arise and ensuring that the platform meets the organization's needs.
  • Monitor system performance, making necessary adjustments and updates to keep the SharePoint environment running efficiently.
Qualifications

3+ years experience in SharePoint administration.  Must be Security+ certified.  Demonstrated experience managing and administering a content and collaboration platform with specific and advanced expertise in Microsoft SharePoint.  Experience with site collection architecture, permissions governance, custom list/library creation and workflow development.  Familiarity with Microsoft 365, PowerShell, and related technologies is desired.  Proven experience applying formal project management methodologies to lead complex, cross-functional projects from conception to completion, including defining scope, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders.  Must be customer service oriented and able to demonstrate strong communication skills and problem-solving/troubleshooting abilities.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
