Job description

DLS Medical Billing and Coding is hiring for an onsite, collaborative Medical Director to provide care for newly opened Urgent Care & Healthcare Foundation facility needs as follows:

A license to practice as a physician, awarded by the state upon passing a medical licensing board examination. Requires graduation from medical school and postgraduate training.4-5 years experience.

Experience with providing primary care services for patients, such as diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.

  • Ensuring that the medical staff and facility comply with the federal rules, regulations and codes
  • Enhancing cooperation between Nurses, Physicians and relevant medical departments
  • Fostering healthy relationships with suppliers.
  • Evaluating the coordination of the medical team to ensure the success of the foundation
  • Ensuring that licenses are up to date, thus preventing the prosecution or termination of the urgent care services to the public Knowledge of the laws related to the privacy and security of medical information as established in the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
  • Skill in or experience with providing medical care to infants, children, or adolescents.
