Maintenance Director
Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, AL is a place where you can grow and have a rewarding career opportunity. If you have a desire to work in the fast-paced geriatric rehabilitation environment, this is the opportunity for you!
Summary: The Maintenance Director will plan, organize and direct the overall operations of the maintenance department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, ensuring that the facility is maintained in a safe, comfortable condition. Coordinate maintenance services with other departments; ensure outside services are properly completed and supervised in accordance with contracts. Assist in establishing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program and ensure compliance with fire and safety codes. Ensure proper maintenance of the facility including carpentry work, grounds-keeping, painting, equipment and HVAC systems.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be a high school graduate or have a GED, completion of secondary education or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
Must have previous experience in a supervisory capacity
Must be knowledgeable of building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretation
Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
May be required to drive for company business
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly
Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
