Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Electrical team, based in our Raleigh, NC office

 What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Work with engineers to achieve project results timely and accurately.
  • Generate drawings from engineer's markups using REVIT.
  • Utilize electrical load calculation software to achieve meaningful results.
  • Efficiently research codes, references, standards to assist engineers.
  • Generate handwritten calculations and other hand done engineering task assignments.
  • Get hands on experience with problem solving in the construction industry. 
  • Work on exciting projects that are local to the Raleigh area that serve the community. 
  • Perform site investigations with professional engineers to understand real world applications 
  • Observe the construction of projects that you had a part of designing.  

What your experience looks like

  • At Least Sophomore status in an accredited Bachelor's Degree Program in Electrical Engineering 
  • Fluent in engineering problem solving.
  • Can communicate ideas and concepts well.
  • Has interest in the consulting industry.
  • Comfortable and fluent in basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
  • Is a self-starter and results oriented.
  • Organized on a daily basis.
  • Personable in working with colleagues.
  • A level of understanding and experience in CAD/3-D skills.
