Clinical Trial Nurse - Per Diem - Portland, OR

Work Set-Up: Local Travel - In-Home Patient Visits
Job Type: Per Diem

About the Role

IQVIA is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to support clinical trial activities through inhome patient visits in the Eugene, OR area. This perdiem role is ideal for nurses seeking flexible, supplemental work while gaining handson experience in clinical research.

As a Clinical Trial Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and highquality data collection that supports the development of innovative treatments.

This position involves local and regional travel and requires comfort working independently in patients' homes while adhering to study protocols and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inhome visits with clinical trial participants

  • Perform studyrelated procedures in accordance with protocol requirements

  • Collect and process biological samples and clinical data, including:

    • Blood draws

    • Vital signs and urine testing

    • Subcutaneous medication administration (when required)

  • Label, package, and ship specimens per protocol

  • Accurately document visit data, adverse events (AEs), and serious adverse events (SAEs)

  • Complete mental health (MH) reviews when applicable

  • Communicate effectively with study teams and patients to ensure compliance and safety

Schedule & Travel Requirements

  • Flexible perdiem schedule

  • Visits typically occur in the morning or early afternoon

  • Regional travel required (up to 90 miles)

  • Reliable transportation is required

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state where work is performed

  • BLS certification

  • Recent and demonstrated blood draw experience

  • Hematology experience

  • Comfortable using basic computer and documentation systems

  • Ability to work independently in a homebased care setting

  • Reliable transportation, mobile phone, and internet access

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric nursing experience

  • Previous exposure to clinical trials or research nursing
