Job description

Security Operations Manager

SSC, Inc.  is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee client accounts and security personnel in Hartford County. This position is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, providing leadership to assigned employees, and ensuring security operations meet company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day security operations for approximately 3000 contract hours.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Supervise, coach, and support Security Supervisors and assigned personnel.
  • Ensure employees receive required training and comply with company and client procedures.
  • Monitor staffing, overtime, training, and other direct labor costs.
  • Respond to emergency situations and operational issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate payroll and billing activities for assigned accounts.
  • Support business development and client retention efforts.
  • Draft and update Security Post Orders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years security management of multiple client locations and client-relations experience required.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7 as necessary
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and standard business applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, clients, and the public.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel to assigned locations.
