Contents Project Manager

Disaster Restoration Industry | Residential & Commercial Contents Restoration

We are seeking an experienced and organized Contents Project Manager to lead contents restoration projects from initial loss through final delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands contents operations, and can effectively manage crews, customer communication, inventory, logistics, and project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in contents restoration, pack-outs, inventory management, customer service, and operational coordination within the restoration industry.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contents restoration projects from emergency response through project completion
  • Coordinate pack-outs, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back operations
  • Schedule and manage technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and logistics teams
  • Oversee residential, commercial, and large-loss contents projects
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation and chain-of-custody procedures
  • Communicate directly with homeowners, adjusters, property managers, and insurance carriers
  • Create and maintain project documentation, estimates, and job updates
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Monitor warehouse organization, storage systems, and contents handling procedures
  • Assist with customer issue resolution and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Support business development efforts by building strong referral and client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety procedures, and industry standards

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of restoration or contents restoration experience preferred
  • Experience with:

    • Contents cleaning
    • Inventory systems
    • Textile/electronics restoration
    • Warehouse operations
    • Claims coordination
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Xactimate experience is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required
