POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a highly driven Project Manager to lead complex, customer-focused projects from concept through delivery. This role is central to how we scale—ensuring projects are executed with precision, teams stay aligned, and customers receive innovative, high-quality solutions.

You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, product, and customer teams, acting as the connective thread that drives execution, communication, and accountability. Beyond managing projects, you’ll help elevate how we deliver by improving processes, mentoring team members, and strengthening our overall project management discipline.

This position is on site at our Aurora, IL facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Project Execution

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex projects, from initiation through launch
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering, operations, production, and commercial teams to execute projects effectively
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and teamwork
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and customers on progress and risks

Manage Portfolio & Priorities

  • Support prioritization and visibility of the active project portfolio
  • Track and communicate project health, capacity constraints, and key performance indicators
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive solutions to keep projects on track

Optimize Processes & Tools

  • Continuously improve project management processes, templates, and reporting
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) workflows and execution discipline
  • Help scale systems and tools that improve efficiency and visibility

Oversee Budget, Risk & Quality

  • Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Ensure projects meet customer expectations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

Vendor & Documentation Management

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and Bills of Materials
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a manufacturing or related environment.
  • Familiarity with retail shelving or related manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
  • Previous experience with CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
