At Achilles Group, we provide Fractional HR to our clients in the areas of HR Infrastructure, Recruiting Effectiveness, People Performance and Strategy Alignment. Our approach provides flexibility, resources and access to tools, policies and procedures. We leverage our expertise and best practices to enhance, support our client's businesses. Achilles Group is growing as increasing numbers of small and mid-sized companies from all industries depend on Achilles Group to provide HR expertise and guidance through our Fractional HR approach. We have an immediate need to add Business Development Associate to our team.
Job Description
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  • Present an image that mirrors that of the client.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional office environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office product especially Excel, Word.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Prospecting & Territory Management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with a CRM system is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Human Capital Management (HCM) industry is a plus.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • History of meeting/exceeding sales goals and closing business.
  • Networking, Persuasion, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Professionalism.
