Summary Description:

The account manager (AM)is responsible formanaging client accounts, buildingrelationshipsandactsas the main point of contact for assigned client accounts. JobDutiesandResponsibilities(EssentialFunctions):

  • Build andmaintainpositive relationships with account contacts ensuring long-term retention and loyalty.

  • Identifygrowth opportunities through upselling or cross-sellingadditionalservices to existing accounts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met, anddeliverablesare aligned to address client goals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute unique solutions to resolve client issuesthrough tocompletion and ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.

  • Conduct well-prepared meetings with decision makers; get results by askingappropriate questionsthat qualify business and take advantage of opportunities to create value andassistclients in addressing issues they are facing.

  • Conduct market research and stay informed of market dynamics,competitorsand industry trends toidentifyopportunities and risks.

  • Create proposals and presentations tailored to specific clients and specific opportunities.

  • Update client relationship management software daily to document business development activity that meets or exceeds established metrics while alsomaintainingaccurateprobability for each opportunity in the pipeline.

  • Activelyparticipatein company meetings including regular pipeline reviews, sales teammeetingsand company training sessions.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum of 3yearscustomer service experience.

  • Minimum 5yearslandscaping experience.

  • Must have avalid Driver'sLicense andmaintaina clean driving record.

Level Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, horticulture or other related field, or 4 years of customer service experience in the horticulture industry

  • Strong customer service and interpersonalskills,

  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that allows the employee to be covered by the company's insurance company

  • Adept at using Microsoft Office365 and online sales tracking tools

  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills

  • Comfortable working in a highly digitized and electronic environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively English, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
