Position Summary

Are you a current college student studying Marketing, Business, or Interdisciplinary Studies looking to gain hands-on experience at a premier educational organization? BASIS Ed is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support our central marketing team in Scottsdale. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn the operational side of brand management, from local SEO audits and community engagement to digital asset organization. You will work closely with our professional team to ensure our campus information is accurate, our community presence is vibrant, and our digital platforms are optimized for family engagement.

Essential Functions

Location & Platform Audits

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of Apple Maps and Google Business Profile (GBP) locations to ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform "Niche" platform audits and manage profile updates to maintain brand consistency.
  • Review and update campus information across various lists and digital directories.

Community Engagement & Research

  • Identify and manage "Best Of" school listings and regional recognition opportunities.
  • Research and catalog potential market research organizations to support strategic initiatives.
  • Investigate local club sport sponsorships and partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain community event and calendar listings to drive local awareness.

Content & Asset Management

  • Assist with adding and auditing virtual or physical tours for campus profiles.
  • Organize and upload marketing campaigns into Canto to ensure asset accessibility for the team.
  • Support general profile management tasks while adhering to strict brand standards regarding specific terminology and tone.

Position Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or Interdisciplinary Studies.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and independently drive strategic projects forward.
  • A focus on "academic excellence" and "mastery" in all written deliverables.
  • Familiarity with modern project management software or content management systems is a plus.
