Job description

As a Senior Account Representative- Specialty Pharmacy Sales/AIC, you will help grow revenue, strengthen client relationships, and support access to specialty pharmacy solutions. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building trust, solving problems, and using insights to uncover new opportunities. You will partner with clients and internal teams to drive account performance, protect customer satisfaction, and support meaningful growth in a fast-moving healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue and gross margin within an assigned territory through account development, organic growth, and new account opportunities.
  • Build andmaintainstrong client relationships through proactive outreach, regular follow-up, and thoughtful account support.
  • Identifycustomer needs, market trends, and potential issues, using insights to recommend solutions and improve account performance.
  • Serve as a first point of escalation for client concerns, coordinatingtimelyand effective resolutions that protect satisfaction and trust.
  • Support sales auditing, contract verification, and related processes to ensure agreements and procedures are followed accurately.
  • Manage account-related requests such as credits, debits, product returns, and Class of Trade eligibility with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support seamless contract execution, client service, and operational follow-through.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings and industry events, promoting specialty pharmacy and distribution solutions with confidence.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in specialty distribution, pharmaceutical sales, specialty pharmacy sales, or related healthcare sales.
  • Demonstratedability to meet or exceed sales goals in a results-driven environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust and engage clients professionally.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and time management skills withabilityto work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or related field.
  • Knowledge of specialty distribution, pharmaceuticals, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), or specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Experience using sales analytics, reporting, or customer data to improve territory performance.
  • Experience attending trade shows, industry events, or client-facing meetings.
