This position reports to:

Global Division Quality & CI Manager

__

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams, with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will drive the local quality system through the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating the efforts of all necessary local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance and ensuring that the necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization.
The work model for the role is hybrid, based in Westerville, OH, Cleveland, OH, or New Berlin, WI.
This role is contributing to the AUPI division in the US. Main stakeholders are customers in the Pulp & Paper industries.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement quality strategy aligned with the quality management system, policy, and local objectives, ensuring leadership commitment, effective communication, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive customer-focused quality management by establishing closed-loop feedback from product development to customer experience, resolving cases with root cause analysis, and promoting zero-defect vision.

  • Execute compliance and improvement programs through audits, data analytics, risk identification, and preventive actions, while removing roadblocks and fostering innovation across local units.

  • Act as process owner and partner with local functions to embed voice-of-the-customer, oversee systems and tools, and ensure efficiency, cost management, and sustainable organizational performance.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline like engineering or quality management.

  • 5+ years of working experience within quality or operations.

  • Proven experience in process management and quality assurance roles in a global Engineering environment (working with manufacturing companies is preferred).

  • Knowledge of quality management standards e.g. ISO9001.

  • Auditor / Lead Auditor certification is a plus.

  • Excellent communications skills, results-oriented, speed in execution, openness and listening to others.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
