Job description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be highly motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of cardiovascular pathophysiology
Provide and maintain a therapeutic environment for patients and families
Utilize equipment and supplies, and nursing resources appropriately
Foster continuity of patient care and efficient use of resources
Facilitate consistent, efficient information flow among all staff
Assure that all documentation and billing requirements are met
Communicate and educate effectively at all levels
Demonstrate and foster a high standard of professionalism and collaboration at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Advanced knowledge and skills for assessment and evaluation of chronically ill cardiac patients
Must be physically capable of lifting (linen, supplies, patients, etc)
WORKING CONDITIONS
