Technical Sales Development - Chromatography
Your role:
As a key member of the Customer Applications team, you will play a vital role in advancing our chromatography solutions, specifically focusing on Affinity / Protein A chromatography. You will leverage your expertise in downstream technologies to collaborate with commercial partners and drive the adoption of our innovative technologies. Your strategic insights will be essential in developing initiatives that enhance chromatography sales within your designated region. By working closely with Process Development Scientists, you will ensure a seamless customer experience, particularly for those testing and trialing our products.
Your understanding of market dynamics and customer needs will enable you to identify strategic opportunities for growth. You will engage with customers both in person and virtually, presenting our expertise while addressing their specific needs. Your contributions will extend to planning and executing regional action plans alongside Field Marketing and Commercial teams. Additionally, you will act as a liaison, sharing customer feedback with leadership to shape our strategies and product offerings.
Location in Midwest, Central or Southeast US
Your responsibilities:
• Collaborate with commercial partners to drive the adoption of chromatography technologies
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance chromatography sales in your region
• Partner with Process Development Scientists to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Assist Field Marketing and Commercial teams in planning and executing regional action plans
• Identify strategic opportunities for market share growth based on customer insights and market dynamics
• Present technical expertise to customers through both face-to-face and virtual interactions
• Prepare and validate information required for prioritizing customer projects
• Act as an ambassador for collaborative mindset, supporting the broader product range where applicable
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PHD is preferred
• You have over 5 years of relevant technical experience in the life sciences industry, from prospecting to closure. 20-30% travel
• You are well-versed in downstream processing and chromatography, with experience in biological production, including monoclonal antibodies
• You demonstrate strong project management skills, adept at managing complex projects with stakeholders
• You are fluent in English and ideally in the local language relevant to your market
Preferred Qualifications:
• You exhibit a customer-focused mindset, coupled with digital agility and proactive, action-oriented behavior. 10 years of experience
• You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to build strategic relationships effectively
Pay Range: $144,900-$217,300
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
