We are looking for a Business Development Product Specialist (TSS) to join our Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry team in Korea.

Technical Sales Specialist (Product Specialist)

Job Summary
  • Coverage: Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry (CMD) portfolio (approximately 80% Chromatography, 20% Mass Spectrometry)
  • Customer Segment: Industrial customers across Semiconductor, Battery, Materials, Food, Environmental, and Government agencies (e.g., MFDS, Institute of Health & Environment, Agricultural Technology Centers)
  • Territory: Nationwide (approximately 70% of customer activities in the Seoul metropolitan area)
  • Office: Suseo Office, Seoul

Description

This role is responsible for driving business growth and customer success for our Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry portfolio.

The Business Development Product Specialist will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Application, Service, and Business Unit teams to identify new business opportunities, support key customer projects, and promote strategic products and new product introductions.

The ideal candidate should understand customer needs, explain product value clearly, and help convert opportunities into successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with target customers

  • Support Sales teams in customer meetings, product positioning, and solution proposals

  • Understand customer needs and translate them into clear value messages

  • Drive adoption of strategic products and new product introductions

  • Help improve pipeline quality, win rate, and business growth

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Application, Service, and BU teams

  • Deliver product presentations, customer seminars, and internal training when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields

  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, product/application support, field application, or business development

  • Experience in analytical instruments or related life science / industrial markets preferred

  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: GC/GC-MS, IC, LC/LC-MS, ICP, or sample preparation.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to understand customer pain points and propose suitable solutions

  • Good collaboration skills with Sales, Marketing, Application, Service, and BU teams

  • Strong ownership, planning, and execution skills

  • Native-level Korean and business-level English

  • Willingness to travel within Korea as needed
