Plan, organize,controland direct the work of employees in the Hotel'sChineseRestaurant while ensuring guestsatisfaction.Thisrole is part ofChinese Restaurantdepartment, reporting intoChinese Restaurant GeneralManager.

What you will do:

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors in the Hotel's Fine Dining Restaurant to ensure thatestablishedcultural and core standards are met with long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.

  • The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts. (20%)

  • Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting,purchasingdecisions, and inventory and cash control.

  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.

  • The ability to aid each Department Head in giving the necessary training to their staff and toassistthem in it.

  • To develop creative and attractive setup presentations for potential clients.

  • Toensurespot up-sellingtomaximize the departmental revenue.

  • To supervise the execution of Restaurant according to guest's desire and toensurethe highest standards of food, beverage and service is offered.

  • To review all Restaurant Operation orders and daily and weekly Restaurant sheets to ensure accuracy in content.

Whatyou bring:

  • A minimumfiveyearsof administrativeexperience,preferably in a hospitality or restaurant related field or other equivalentexperience,isrequired.

  • Mandarin Speaking isrequired.

  • Requires a working knowledge of the Food & Beverage aspect of Four Seasons services, policies or operations and general knowledge of the hotel. Working knowledge isgenerally learnedon-the-job.
