Job description

Salary: $18.00/Hour Minimum
Bargaining Unit (click here for contracts): AGCEP Contract
Report Times: 7:30am - 3:00pm
Daily Hours: 7.5 (7 Paid)
Work Year: 10 Month
Supervisor: Principal
Civil Service Title: Senior Teacher Aide (Non-Competitive) 
Minimum Requirements: 
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:












(A) One (1) year paid or volunteer* full-time or its part-time equivalent experience working with children; OR,

(B) Successful completion of at least thirty (30) college semester credit hours; OR,

(C) Possession of an Advanced Child Care Training certificate through the American Red Cross; OR,

(D) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.

*Volunteer experience must be documented by the participating agency and signed by the appointing authority. Employment dates, average number of hours worked per week, and job duties must be included. Documentation must be included with your application.

Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
Assist students and staff with locating books, resources and materials;
Check books and other materials in and out using the library circulation system;
Shelve and organize books and materials;
Assist students and staff with Chromebook support;
Supervise students while using the library;
Provide friendly and helpful assistance to students, teachers, and staff;
Other duties as assigned.
