Location: ย Plank Road North Elementary School
Start Date: ย August 31, 2026
Salary: ย As per current Webster Educational Support Association Agreement.ย 
We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:ย 







  • The ideal candidate should be able to communicate and work well with students (general and special education), teachers, parents, co-workers and others in the community.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to physically keep up with the demands of the position.ย 


Responsibilities:
Clericalย ย 

  • Provide copying and laminating services to the building staff as needed in a timely fashion.
  • Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks such as making copies, running copies, distributing mail
  • Prepares bulletin boards

Library Supportย ย 

  • Provides support in the library under the direction of the school library media specialist.
    • Examples of tasks include: signing out materials for students, assisting with reshelving of materials, providing student support, and other tasks as needed.
  • Assists in libraries, filing materials, checking and shelving books

Arrival/Dismissal Tasksย 

  • Provide support in signing parents/students in and out of school at arrival and dismissal times.
  • There may also be some small clerical support as needed.

Student Supportย 

  • Provide student support and supervision of school related activities and instruction under the direction of the building principal.
  • Acts as a monitor in study halls, corridors, libraries, lavatories, resource centers and cafeterias
  • Report disciplinary problems to the building principal or his/her designee
  • Monitors computer lab or room and/or equipment
  • Proctors exams

Professional Development

  • Attends building and district meetings and workshops as required by the building principal or assistant principal
  • Performs such other position-related duties assigned by the building principal or district administrator.
  • Specific and timely job training will be provided by the school district.
