The Opportunity
Cirona Labs is hiring a Processing Technician - Vape & Pre-Roll Production (entry level) for our onsite Rochester, NY team, Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm, $21–$22/hr. This role exists to keep vape cartridge filling and pre-roll lines running smoothly while protecting quality, safety, and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Run, clean, and perform basic upkeep on vape filling and pre-roll equipment
- Check fill weights/specs, spot issues early, and help reduce downtime through troubleshooting
- Stage materials, complete SKU changeovers, and keep batch/production/inventory documentation accurate
- Follow GMP expectations, sanitation practices, and required safety/PPE procedures
What you’ll need:
- Ability to follow SOPs and detailed instructions; strong attention to detail and basic math
- Comfort in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; reliable transportation; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

On Shift
You’ll clock in for the afternoon shift, review the production plan, and get set up with PPE before the line starts. Early on, you’ll confirm the run is dialed in—then stay in a steady rhythm of checks, quick adjustments, and documentation as product moves through. When a changeover comes up, you’ll reset the line, organize materials for the next SKU, and verify everything is ready before restarting. Throughout the evening you’ll stay in close communication with teammates and leads, asking questions and learning the “why” behind specs and quality checks. You’ll wrap up by tidying your area, completing final records, and handing off a clear status update for what’s next shift.
