Job description

This position is responsible for the academic, social-emotional, and developmental growth of all children in their care, which may include children and toddlers through preschool. Develops partnerships with parents, children, and caregivers to engage and encourage participation in the program. He/she is also responsible for assuring compliance with State and local governing entities and works collectively with other staff members of AVANCE.
Requirements
Required:
o Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 hours in Early Childhood Education.
Work Experience
Preferred:
o Six (6) months in a licensed childcare facility or in a public/private school or early childhood facility or has completed an early childhood degree program where practicum(s) were required.
