Job description

The YMCA of Central Texas is currently seeking a full-time candidate to join us at our Child Development Center as a CDC Associate. This position supports the mission, purpose, and goals of the YMCA of CTX while serving as the primary administrative support and customer service representative for the Child Development Center.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current preschool families
  • Support enrollment from inquiry through registration
  • Maintain preschool waitlists under director of program leadership
  • Schedule tours for perspective families
  • Welcome walk-in families and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
  • Respond to questions regarding preschool policies, tuition, and enrollment
  • Assist with tuition balances and collection efforts following YMCA procedures
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Maintain documentation and assist with administration of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
  • Supporting the daily administrative needs of the preschool while providing limited assistance to Afterschool participants and families
  • Greet guests professionally and create a welcoming environment for families and visitors
  • Support classroom operations by stepping into classrooms as needed

$510 Bonus for New Staff!

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a professional office
  • At least two years of customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, energy and exceptional human relations skills
  • References, criminal history background check, Sex Offender Registry check, pre-employment drug screen, and pre hire training are required of all hired applicants.

Pay Rate: $15.66 to $18.00/hour
