The Warren Hills Regional School District has the following position available for the

2026-2027 school year:
Chief Academic Officer
Start Date: On or About October 1, 2026
Salary: $150,000 - $163,000



The Warren Hills Regional School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chief
Academic Officer. Reporting directly to the Superintendent of Schools, the Chief Academic Officer
serves as the district's chief instructional leader and provides executive leadership for curriculum,
instruction, assessment, professional learning, student achievement, and continuous school
improvement.

Working collaboratively with the Superintendent, principals, department supervisors, teachers, and
community partners, the Chief Academic Officer will lead the district's instructional vision while
supporting academic excellence, innovation, and organizational effectiveness across grades 7-12.

Qualifications Include:
Valid New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (CE).
Successful experience as a teacher and school administrator.
Demonstrated leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning.
Demonstrated experience supervising and evaluating administrators and instructional staff.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership, student
achievement, and school improvement.
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative leadership skills.
Examples of Essential Responsibilities Include:
Provide executive leadership for curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional
learning.
Provide leadership, supervision, and support for the district's instructional programs and
academic initiatives.
Lead district curriculum review, assessment, school improvement, and instructional
innovation.
Coordinate postsecondary readiness initiatives, including Advanced Placement, dual
enrollment, concurrent enrollment, career pathways, and partnerships with colleges,
universities, business, and industry.
Coordinate curriculum articulation with the district's sending school districts.
Oversee the planning, implementation, and compliance of Title I, Title II, Title Ill, and Title IV
educational grants.
Supervise and evaluate administrators, teachers, and other staff as assigned by the
Superintendent.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
