At LSINC, engineering isn't limited to a desk. Our engineers work on innovative products, advanced manufacturing systems, direct-to-object printing technologies, custom equipment, and product development projects that move from concept to reality.
We're looking for motivated Engineering Co-Op and Intern students who want real-world experience working alongside engineers, technicians, designers, and manufacturing professionals in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
As an Engineering Co-Op or Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting engineering and product development projects from concept through production.
Opportunities may include:
โ€ข Assisting with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and product development projects
โ€ข Creating and updating CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation
โ€ข Supporting prototype development, testing, and validation activities
โ€ข Assisting with design improvements and engineering change implementation
โ€ข Participating in product assembly, troubleshooting, and performance testing
โ€ข Supporting manufacturing process improvements and efficiency initiatives
โ€ข Working with engineering teams to solve technical challenges
โ€ข Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting
โ€ข Participating in customer demonstrations, product evaluations, and technology development projects
โ€ข Learning how products move from design to manufacturing and final delivery
What We're Looking For
โ€ข Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field
โ€ข Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
โ€ข Curiosity and willingness to learn
โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar tools
