Discovery Flex is a hybrid virtual BESE-authorized Type 2 Charter that is part of the Discovery Schools Charter Management Organization. We are excited to bring Discovery education to the state of Louisiana through our second corporate partnership with Ochsner Health. Discovery Flex opened in the August 2024-25 school year, starting with grades 5th through 8th, and will eventually educate students in grades K - 12th at full capacity.
Discovery Flex seeks a Bachelor's or Master's degree teacher certified in World Language Education. Certification in Elementary Education and/or Secondary Education is desirable. Two (2)+ years of experience with children in a school setting is preferred. ESL certification or a willingness to obtain an ESL certification is strongly preferred. A strong candidate will have significant experience with online learning and various educational technology platforms. Interest in leading extracurricular student activities is a plus. Position available August 2025.
