Position Overview 

The Digital Designer is to design front-end solutions that will be implemented on both new and existing brand digital websites, emails, advertisements, social and blogs. This position should have knowledge of both visual and interactive design, as well as a solid understanding of user experience and web technologies. This role will collaborate with in-house designers, developers, marketing, and each individual brand on a variety of assignments, including but not limited to email designs, website banners, social campaigns, site redesigns, product launches, new UI/UX features, and digital marketing launches. Under the direction of the UI/UX Design Manager, they will collaborate with ecommerce team members and each brand’s designers, while also operating as the sole designer on select projects.

In addition to strong execution skills, we are seeking someone who can actively contribute to process improvement and help drive meaningful change within the team. This includes identifying inefficiencies, introducing smarter workflows, and leveraging emerging tools, particularly AI, to enhance productivity, creativity, and scalability. A forward-thinking mindset and a working understanding of how AI can support design and digital production will empower this individual to deliver higher-impact results and help elevate the broader team’s capabilities. 

Responsibilities

  • Creating and designing engaging and effective design solutions that engage the consumer across various platforms. (Mobile, Desktop, Email, Social)
  • Create digital assets for multimedia projects. Including websites graphics, banner advertisements, and interactive displays.
  • Translating marketing and business needs into dynamic and innovative solutions that provide the best possible user experiences.
  • Collaborating with the e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and website standards.
  • Execute marketing storie­­s with the ecommerce, digital, and email positions.
  • Follow brand’s style-guides to keep websites/emails cohesive with marketing campaigns.
  • Update and create new website UI using design systems.
  • Communicating ideas by means of pencil sketches, wireframes and mockups in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop or other wireframing tools.
  • Help coordinate our content management software and dynamic imaging platform.
  • Prepping designs for handing over to developers. (Redlines, specs and organized to-size files.)

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design, visual communications, product design, UI design, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of Visual Communication.
  • Strong knowledge of design software programs including Adobe Creative Suite. Such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign. As well is strong knowledge of mockup programs like Figma.
  • Awareness of emerging design technologies and tools, including AI-assisted design platforms, with the ability to apply them to improve workflows, efficiency, and creative output.
  • Strong portfolio of design work, showing solution to design problems through effective design.
  • Experience with designing e-commerce websites, emails or advertising.
  • Experience with photo and video editing.
  • Experience with working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to communicate user experience and interface design through sketches, user flows, and wireframes.
  • Knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques and understanding of user behavior as it relates to design.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

    • Love of outdoors and winter sports.

The Pay Range for this role is 75,000.00 - 95,000.00 annually.
