Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for a Laboratory Technicians and Clinical Laboratory Scientists to support our work with the Indian Health Service across Montana!ย

  • Position durations: 13 weeks - often with the opportunity to extend
  • Full Time, 40 hours a week
  • Schedule: Varies depending on location. May include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Per Diem for travel, housing, meals, and incidentals.
  • Multiple levels available! Lab Techs II, III, IV, and Clinical Laboratory Scientistsย 
Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using various diagnostic laboratory equipment such as analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges.
  • Prepare patients and collect blood specimens utilizing venipuncture or capillary methods.
  • Prepare patients for collection of other specimen types such as urine and stool.
  • Review, verify and report patient results.
  • Must be proficient in major areas of the clinical laboratory, such as clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, and molecular testing.
  • Perform, update and/or review Quality Control, Calibrations, and Maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Specific requirements will vary depending on the role, but the minimum requirements are:

  • Completion of a medical laboratory technician (MLT) program or equivalent training. Certification as MLT (ASCP or AMT) preferred. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment
  • Certifications and/or additional experience may be required for more senior positions.ย
