Job description

Description:

The Channel Marketing Specialist supports the growth of the Pittsburgh Wire and Milrail brands through the development and execution of marketing programs focused on electrical distribution, supplier partnerships, and customer acquisition.

This role works closely with supplier partners, sales teams, business development resources, and customers to develop and promote solutions that create value for industrial, transportation, rail, utility, mining, and video inspection markets. The position helps drive demand generation, supplier engagement, sales enablement, and market awareness through a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Based in the Pittsburgh area, this hybrid role includes domestic and international travel, primarily supporting Milrail business activities in Quebec, Canada.


Responsibilities

Supplier & Partner Marketing

· Develop and execute co-marketing programs with strategic manufacturing partners.

· Coordinate supplier promotions, campaigns, events, and product spotlights.

· Develop and manage co-branded marketing assets and messaging.

· Identify opportunities to expand visibility through supplier channels, industry associations, and customer events.

· Support supplier business reviews, growth initiatives, and onboarding activities.

Lead Generation, Content Development & Digital Marketing

· Develop and execute campaigns that generate demand through Pittsburgh Wire and Milrail sales channels.

· Support customer acquisition initiatives across targeted industries and markets.

· Create and deploy email marketing, digital marketing, social media, website content, partner channels, and promotional activities.

· Support lead generation, customer engagement, and campaign performance tracking.

· Develop marketing copy for campaigns, product spotlights, customer success stories, newsletters, and promotional materials.

· Maintain content calendars supporting supplier promotions, sales initiatives, and industry events.

· Monitor content performance and recommend improvements.

Sales Enablement

· Develop presentations, customer-facing collateral, case studies, and sales support materials.

· Support strategic account initiatives and business development campaigns.

· Help communicate supplier capabilities, inventory programs, technical services, and value-added offerings.

Graphic Design & Website Management

· Create and update brochures, presentations, advertisements, digital graphics, and event materials.

· Maintain brand consistency across Pittsburgh Wire, Milrail, and co-branded supplier materials.

· Update website content, landing pages, supplier pages, and promotional content.

· Support website optimization, content publishing, and digital platform administration.

Events & Market Intelligence

· Coordinate participation in trade shows, supplier events, customer meetings, and industry conferences.

· Support event planning, on-site execution, promotions, lead management, and follow-up activities.

· Monitor industry, customer, supplier, and competitor trends.

· Identify growth opportunities within target industries and markets.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in marketing, channel marketing, sales support, business development, distribution, or related commercial roles.

· Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and other business productivity software.

· Proficiency with marketing & graphic design related software such as Adobe, Canva, and HubSpot.

· Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including Canada.

· Experience in electrical distribution, industrial distribution, wire and cable, industrial automation, or related industries.

· Experience working with supplier partners and manufacturer relationships.

· Experience supporting co-marketing programs and channel development initiatives.

· Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (HubSpot), content management, and digital marketing platforms.

· Experience supporting trade shows, customer events, and supplier marketing programs.


Location & Travel

· Based within commuting distance of the Coraopolis, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh Area)

· Hybrid work environment with a combination of office, remote work, and business travel.

· Approximately 15–30% domestic and international travel required.

· International travel will primarily support Milrail business activities in Quebec, Canada.
