Job description

As the Channel Marketing Manager with Resideo you will have the opportunity to drive best-in-class marketing to, with, and through Resideo's channels, including a strong focus on electrical distribution partners. This role will lead push marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with Resideo's strategic priorities to generate demand, accelerate sell-through, and build a measurable pipeline of business. You will be given the opportunity to use your marketing prowess to create and execute joint marketing plans, while also influencing channel behavior through targeted push strategies, promotions, and distributor engagement. This role will gift you with a unique blend of both independent execution and strong cross-functional collaboration on an incredible team.

Duties shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the evaluation, optimization, and execution of channel marketing strategies.

  • Develop and execute integrated channel marketing plans targeting electrical distribution, wholesale partners, and key end-user verticals. 

  • Drive channel "push" strategy, including promotions, rebate programs, pricing initiatives, and distributor activation to accelerate inventory movement and increase sell-through. 

  • Successfully launch new products within the electrical distribution channel, ensuring distributor readiness, sales enablement, and rapid market adoption. 

  • Measure, track, and optimize campaign performance, delivering actionable insights to improve ROI and effectiveness. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and marketing teams to align on priorities, messaging, and growth initiatives. 

  • Partner closely with sales leadership to drive demand, support pipeline development, and deliver revenue across distribution channels. 

  •  Work with Pro marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and content to support new product introductions and lifecycle campaigns. 

  • Support distributor enablement through merchandising, in-branch activations, and point-of-purchase materials. 

  • Own and manage marketing budgets aligned to channel initiatives 

  • Oversee Marketing Development Fund (MDF) programs, ensuring strategic investment and clear ROI tracking. 

  • Expertise in the electrical distribution landscape to inform strategy and strengthen go-to-market execution. 

  • Lead product transition initiatives, ensuring clear communication and alignment across distributors, customers, and field sales teams. 

  • Manage website content and digital presence, ensuring accurate product data, consistent messaging, and optimized user experience. 

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data and marketing assets across distributor platforms and digital tools. 

  • Maintain distributor and partner portals, providing up-to-date product, pricing, and marketing resources. 

  • Develop and distribute field communications to keep stakeholders informed of product updates, programs, and key initiatives. 

  • Design and execute advertising and integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility, support sell-through, and drive growth within the electrical distribution channel.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years with relevant industries, including HVAC, residential new construction, smart home, and electrical distribution.

  • 3+ years with B2B sales, distributor channels (with emphasis on electrical distribution).

  • Ability to adhere to the Resideo Hybrid schedule (in-office Tu/Weds/Thurs & home office Mon/Fri)

  • Ability to travel as directed (up to 20% travel may be required.)
