About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the senior financial executive and Executive Director of Finance. The CFO will be responsible for the effective and accountable management of the company's financial administration systems and processes, leading strategic financial planning, and ensuring strong internal controls and transparent financial reporting. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the companyโ€™s financial integrity and supporting its pursuit of fiscal sovereignty. The CFO will also be tasked with leading the annual budget process, preparing financial forecasts, and directing financial strategy.

The successful candidate must have a professional accounting designation (CPA) and a degree in a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years' progressive financial leadership experience. Experience within a First Nation or Indigenous organization is preferred.
