Job Summary:

Responsible for reporting, analyzing, strategizing, creating metrics and determining efficiencies of blood management. Ensure that a Monthly Progress Report (MPR) is submitted outlining the expenditures, billings, progress, status, and any problems/issues encountered in the performance of the contract. Provide briefs to manage and determine efficiencies of blood management.

Responsibilities: 

  • Accomplish tasks and submit deliverables that represent a clear alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and support the ASBPD through strategic and tactical goals and leadership driven projects.
  • Propose data-driven initiatives that meet the Armed Forces peace and wartime operational need for blood products in a timely, efficient, cost effective and regulatory compliant manner.
  • Analyze process re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify trends, patterns and insights.
  • Propose solutions and improve processes through stakeholders while understanding their needs; ensure implemented solutions align with business objectives.
  • Create visual representations for current and proposed business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Build relationships and effectively manage expectations with diverse stakeholders.

Education/Certifications:

Program Manager shall have minimum of three (3) years' program management experience working with DoD military and/or civilian customers.

Bachelor's or higher degree in English, journalism, communication or related field or if the proposed candidate does not possess a bachelor's degree or higher-level degree then the proposed candidate must have at least three years of experience.

Required Qualifications:

Possess the ability to organize, direct, manage and review technical aspects of deliverables, involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks. Maintain and facilitate lines of communication across the client interface, at the senior levels of the client's organization, and with company partnerships. Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Provide assistance to the organization in developing mission and vision statements and subsequent goal delineation. Works with assigned personnel to provide guidance for building operational plans and specifying measurable outcomes to include capital outlay planning efforts and prioritizes those initiatives to meet strategic goals.
