On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Charge Description Master (CDM) Analyst for a contract role. This position is remote and located in Chicago, California, United States.
Charge Description Master (CDM) Analyst - Job Description:
The Revenue Integrity CDM Analyst is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the compliance and integrity of the Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) Charge Description Master (CDM). The role involves researching regulations, implementing revisions for revenue preservation, and collaborating with external vendors for accurate billing.
Charge Description Master (CDM) Analyst - Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain all CDM requests for charge code additions, revisions, and deletions.
โ€ข Monitor and resolve Epic charge review workqueues and billing exceptions.
โ€ข Coordinate with Information Systems to implement approved charge codes in the EHR.
โ€ข Analyze requests for pricing alignment based on vendor strategies and coding compatibility.
โ€ข Research payer regulations to ensure revenue preservation and billing compliance.
