The Financial Analyst I manages all projects assigned under the direction and guidance of the manager within their area of responsibility while supporting the initiatives and goals of the Department.

*This is a Remote position** (subject to change based on needs)


A day in the life of a Financial Analyst I at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Reconciles 'Pre-Bundle' data with payor.
  • Develop pricing for 'Bundles' for payor.
  • Reconciles actual spend with payor 'Post Bundle' period end.
  • Involved in the CDM synchronization for the network.
  • Assists with Charge Master development and analysis.
  • Prepares, monitors and analyzes trends/targets on a monthly basis.
  • Analyzes/interprets and models managed care contracts as assigned.
  • Responsible for all projects assigned.
  • Assists other team members on projects as assigned.
  • Ensures compliance with department initiatives and goals.
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
  • Adheres to the HMH's Organizational Competencies and Standards of Behavior.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Three or more years of experience working with managed care contracts and/or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managed care contract terminology (i.e. CPT codes).
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Collaboration with other team members.
  • Prior experience with EPIC.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or other related field.

Minimum rate of $73,153.60 Annually
