To thrive as a Charge Integrity Analyst, you need detailed knowledge of healthcare billing, coding standards (such as CPT/HCPCS), and revenue cycle processes, often supported by a degree in health information management or related field. Familiarity with hospital information systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and certification such as Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) are highly valued.
