Job description

EverPass is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Revenue & Billing Operations Analyst to support the company's Small and Medium-Sized Business (SMB) subscription, billing, and revenue operations functions. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of customer billing, subscription management, revenue reconciliation, and operational processes across EverPass products and partner offerings.
As a key member of the SMB Business Enablement team, this individual will work closely with Finance, Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Operations teams to support the lifecycle of commercial venue accounts, maintain billing accuracy, ensure subscription compliance, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with operational rigor and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
SMB Revenue & Billing Operations
  • Manage recurring billing processes across EverPass SMB subscription products and commercial venue accounts.
  • Ensure customer accounts are accurately configured and billed according to contractual agreements, pricing structures, promotional programs, and partner requirements.
  • Process account activations, upgrades, downgrades, renewals, cancellations, venue transfers, billing adjustments, credits, and refunds.
  • Generate, validate, and reconcile invoices to ensure billing accuracy and revenue integrity.
  • Monitor billing activity and proactively identify discrepancies, exceptions, and revenue leakage risks.

SMB Venue Account Audits & Subscription Compliance
  • Conduct regular audits of commercial venue accounts to ensure account information, subscription packages, and venue classifications remain accurate and compliant.
  • Verify customer eligibility and subscription entitlements based on venue type, occupancy, business classification, and contractual terms.
  • Identify and investigate compliance issues related to account setup, package access, pricing, and partner program requirements.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve account discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
  • Support compliance initiatives associated with content distribution agreements and strategic partnerships.

SMB Partner Revenue Reconciliation
  • Perform reconciliations related to partner programs and content distribution arrangements.
  • Validate customer billing and subscription data against partner reporting requirements.
  • Support financial and operational reconciliation processes involving strategic partners and distribution platforms.
  • Investigate variances and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing partner reporting and revenue-related analyses.

SMB Subscription Lifecycle Management
  • Support operational processes associated with customer onboarding, activation, renewals, amendments, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate customer, subscription, contract, and account data across internal systems.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales teams to ensure account changes are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support customer account reviews and operational quality assurance initiatives.

SMB Revenue Reconciliation & Financial Support
  • Reconcile billing platform activity with CRM, payment processing, and financial systems.
  • Support month-end close activities, revenue reporting, audit requests, and financial reconciliations.
  • Investigate revenue variances and partner with Finance to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain operational controls and documentation that support financial accuracy and compliance.

SMB Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain recurring reports and dashboards related to billing operations, subscription performance, account activity, revenue trends, and operational KPIs.
  • Analyze customer, subscription, and revenue data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, retention, and revenue performance.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and strategic business initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a liaison between Finance, Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to troubleshoot billing-related issues and support system enhancements.
  • Support launches of new products, pricing models, partner programs, and operational workflows.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives focused on operational scalability and continuous improvement.

SMB Process Improvement & Systems Management
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Document and maintain billing, compliance, and revenue operations procedures.
  • Assist with system implementations, integrations, testing, and operational enhancements.
  • Promote best practices related to billing controls, data governance, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in revenue operations, billing operations, finance operations, subscription management, customer operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience working with CRM, billing, ERP, payment processing, or subscription management platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting subscription-based, recurring revenue, SaaS, streaming, media, telecommunications, or technology businesses.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Stripe, NetSuite, Chargebee, Zuora, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Experience performing account audits, financial reconciliations, or compliance-related operational activities.

Expected Compensation: The anticipated base hourly wage range for a new hire into this position is $85,000 - $100,000. In compliance with local law, the range above reflects the current hiring range for this position. EverPass takes into consideration the qualifications, skills, and experience of the candidate, expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. EverPass expects to hire for this position at the mid-range salary, with the possibility of considering a higher salary only in rare cases when EverPass determines an external candidate possesses exceptional qualifications significantly exceeding the job requirements.
