Job description

Material Analyst

The primary responsibility of the Material Analyst is to review documentation and process information assigned to specific background investigations in accordance with contractual requirements.  This position supports the Item Level Processing team within the Case Processing Operation Center (CPOC) contract that reports to the Defense and Intel Operating Group.

Key Role/Responsibilities:

  • Review documents submitted from government agencies to verify subject information meets case requirements.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to field investigators when additional case information needs collected or scheduled.
  • Identify issues or discrepant information in case material.
  • Input case & subject information into multiple systems & databases.
  • Cross-train and assist with processing other department functions as needed.
  • Maintain minimum quality and production standards in assigned function.
  • Complete other assignments/projects as needed to support department, contract, or business needs. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of industry (government contracting) or administrative experience.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Basic computer literacy; familiarity with Microsoft Office or other compatible applications. 
  • Effectively communicate with team members both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to interpret procedure manuals, email correspondence and instructions.
  • Must have the ability to manage and complete work assignments independently or with minimal supervision. 
  • High attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule.  Schedules are dependent on workload and will require availability outside of department core hours, which may include evening and weekends.
  • Must be willing to work on-site as needed.
  • Must consent to a government background investigation.  Contract requires US Citizenship, due to nature of work performed.
  • Must be able to work a 40+ hour schedule.
  • Must reside within 1 hour driving time of Boyers, PA.
