Wilson, NC / Rocky Mount, NC

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Part-Time, 10–15 hours per week
Work Location: Hybrid (Office and Remote)

About Us

S & B Home Services LLC is a growing behavioral health and personal care services agency serving individuals throughout Eastern North Carolina. We provide services including Individual Transitional Support (ITS), Community Living and Supports (CLS), Peer Support Services, Personal Care Services (PCS), Supported Employment, and Community Transition.

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR & Compliance Coordinator to assist with employee management, onboarding, credentialing, compliance tracking, and CARF accreditation readiness.

Job Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Manage employee onboarding and new hire paperwork
  • Maintain personnel files and employee records
  • Coordinate background checks and employment verification
  • Schedule and assist with interviews
  • Assist with employee orientation and training
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information

Compliance & Credentialing

  • Track CPR certifications, driver's licenses, auto insurance, and required trainings
  • Monitor staff credential expiration dates
  • Conduct personnel file audits
  • Ensure personnel records meet Medicaid, Trillium, Alliance, and CARF requirements
  • Maintain compliance spreadsheets and tracking systems
  • Assist with CARF accreditation preparation and ongoing compliance

Payroll & Administrative Support

  • Review timesheets for completeness
  • Assist with Paycom administration
  • Track employee attendance and documentation
  • Monitor completion of required trainings
  • Prepare reports for management as requested

Recruiting & Retention

  • Post job openings on Indeed and other platforms
  • Review resumes and applications
  • Schedule interviews
  • Assist with recruitment efforts for behavioral health and PCS staff
  • Support employee engagement initiatives

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous HR, healthcare administration, behavioral health, or compliance experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Experience with Paycom, OnTarget, Medicaid services, or CARF standards is a plus
