The Opportunity:
As a Project Analyst you will provide vital services in support of the TSA's mission of protecting the nation's air, rail, transit, and highway transportation systems to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce. This partnership enables the TSA to continue serving approximately 1.9 million passengers every day at mass transit stations and airports nationwide.
This position requires being on-site, either at TSA's HQ in Springfield, VA, or another location within the National Capital Region (NCR) (e.g., Annapolis Junction, MD).
Responsibilities:
As a Project Analyst you will Compile statistical information and communicate with all levels of client personnel to gather and convey information. You will support and provide assistance on specific business, management, scientific, operational, engineering, technical, policy, and professional issues. In addition, you will:
  • Participate, advise, contribute, prepare and/or present briefings on business, management, technology, operational initiatives, policy formulation, professional or strategic goals.
  • Design, implement, and manage knowledge management solutions: Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of knowledge management systems, including iShare/SharePoint sites, databases, reports, dashboards, and collaboration tools. Ensure all content and systems comply with TSA guidelines, including formatting standards, federal records management policies (TSA MD 200.7), and all applicable security and privacy requirements.
  • Produce and maintain analytical reports to support decision-making: Create, update, and deliver insightful reports and data-driven products-such as system usage analyses and performance dashboards-to inform management strategies and enhance operational decision-making.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Ability to obtain DHS EOD (Entry on Duty)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Six (6) years experience in program/project analysis

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
