JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Performs schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development activities for Proposal, FEED or EPC project schedules for the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 Program.
  • Supports project organizational and administrative activities.
  • Conduct development and integration of individual discipline schedules into the total project plan.
  • Develops and maintains project progress reporting. Performs schedule resource loading and leveling.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Primarily Engineering and Procurement planning duties will be required.
  • Perform and/or coordinate, collect, verify, and integrate the work scope for all entities into the total project plan.
  • Reviews the representation of project scope in schedules.
  • Establishes the conceptual scope of schedule studies.
  • Prepares and analyzes comparisons of scope, quantities between the projects.
  • Performs productivity analysis of construction operations and verifies.
  • Establishes milestones for the total project or major portions of the project.
  • Reviews project work activities to ensure support of project milestones.
  • Coordinates the timely, systematic, and complete acquisition of scope definition and related data.
  • Supports initial development and maintenance of Engineering Progress and Performance Reporting (EPPR) and associated analysis/curves.
  • Supports initial development and maintenance of Procurement Valuation System (PVS) and associated analysis/curves.
  • Supports initial development and maintenance of Subcontract Valuation System (SCVS) and associated analysis/curves.
  • Update and maintain the engineering and procurement activities in the schedule based on each department's input.
  • Recommend changes to durations and/or logic if required to maintain the overall project duration.
  • Reviews the performing organizations and unit's work logics and determines whether the schedules will adequately support the overall project schedule.
  • Reviews completeness and reasonableness of quantities.
  • Reviews and evaluates schedule durations for all disciplines' activities relative to the support of project milestones.
  • Prepares and analyzes comparisons of scope, quantities, and planning data between projects.
  • Plan, organize and supervise schedule resource loading and leveling.
  • Coordinates the development of all bulk commodity release and installation curves. Integrates appropriate manpower requirements for each discipline/specialty relative to the overall project needs.
  • Identifies schedule restraints and their effects on the total project schedule.
  • Works with all departments to ensure an understanding of the total project schedule needs.
  • Identifies schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-discipline or group restraints and interfaces.
  • Responsible for issuing reports required by the client management and project procedures.
  • Monitors and reports the critical path and schedule performance of the total project.
  • Performs project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine the criticality of scheduled activities.
  • Recommends alternatives for schedule improvement to the project team for discussion and/or decision.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience and demonstrated skill in planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis on EPC projects.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication, with a demonstrated ability to present planning and scheduling information to management and clients.
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home office.
  • Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications.
  • Proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications currently used in the client (Primavera and Microsoft Office Applications, for example).
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes, as performed by the client.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management is customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
