OCI Infrastructure Capacity Management is currently in need of a Principal Technical Program Manager to join our fast-growing team. The TPM will be responsible for managing complex, cross-organizational programs that impact both product and business for OCI. This role requires a passion for solving high-impact problems through process improvement initiatives and driving continuous improvement in systems/tools. Initial focus will be on driving programs and improvement related to rack ingestion, capacity delivery, and on-time performance. The role is highly visible and will be required to effectively communicate status at an executive level.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years relevant work experience in program/project management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain or relevant
  • Able to identify and resolve process, procedure, and tool gaps to improve overall program success
  • Outstanding proactive communication skills: written, verbal, presentations
  • High ownership with a strong bias for action

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud services, networking, or SaaS products
  • Understanding of datacenter operations, networking, server rack ingestion/installation, supply chain, and/or capacity delivery is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex problems considering various technological and business factors
  • Flexibility to shift with business priorities, and unrivaled attention to detail
  • Ability to think broadly and strategically
  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
  • Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment
  • Drive a culture of using data insights to help drive decision-making
  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly

Specific responsibilities for this role include:
  1. Drive critical cross-org programs, process, and product initiatives
  2. Work across various organizations to determine feasibility and timelines
  3. Understand critical path to scale and write proposals for strategic scaling initiatives
  4. Organize cross-org activities ensuring completion of initiatives on schedule
  5. Mentor junior program managers
