Description
North Shore Camping Co. is looking for a hands-on, solutions-oriented Operations Manager to keep our one-of-a-kind camping experience running smoothly. If you can troubleshoot on the fly, enjoy working outdoors, are an experienced camper, love people, and know your way around both a tool kit and a trail map - this might be your dream job.
What You'll Do:
• Oversee daily campground operations to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our guests
• Lead maintenance and repair of campground facilities, utilities, and equipment
• Identify and solve problems quickly, from mechanical repairs to logistical challenges
• Manage seasonal staff and coordinate schedules
• Monitor and care for forested areas, trails, and common spaces
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Perform basic daily accounting duties.
What We're Looking For:
• Mechanically inclined with basic repair and maintenance skills
• Knowledgeable about camping, forestry, and outdoor recreation
• Physically able to handle hands-on, sometimes strenuous work
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible, adaptable, and ready for the unexpected
