Position Summary
Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the campground buildings, facilities,
equipment and grounds. Reports to the General Manager.

General Duties
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to
campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by the
Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor or the owner(s).
โ€ข Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as instituted
by the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor or the owner(s), including
the pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane
pumping, game machine, laundry servicing and various other campground equipment
upkeep.

โ€ข Comply with all KOA, federal, state and local safety programs by adhering to established
guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals,
ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and campground customers.
โ€ข Provide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests'
needs. Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the Campground
Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor or the owner(s).

โ— Use of safe work practices for a secure work environment for staff and campground
guests.

Job Qualifications
โ— Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation
โ— Basic knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usage
โ— Basic knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing
โ— Valid Driver's License
โ— Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
โ— Capable of working independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
โ— Must be able to lift 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds regularly
โ— Able to push and/or pull approximately 200 pounds
โ— Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds
without assistance
โ— Must be able to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment
โ— Requires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feel
โ— Able to travel by auto
โ— Long periods of standing, bending, kneeling and walking
โ— Able to work inside and outdoors frequently and in various climates
โ— Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain
