Cameraman Assistants, also known as camera assistants or ACs (Assistant Camera), are professionals who support the main camera operator during film, television, or video productions. Their primary responsibilities include setting up and maintaining camera equipment, managing lenses and accessories, marking focus points, and ensuring the camera is ready for each shot. They also help with changing batteries, handling memory cards or film stock, and keeping detailed notes about each take. Cameraman Assistants play a vital role in ensuring that the camera department runs smoothly and efficiently on set.

To thrive as a Cameraman Assistant, you need a solid understanding of camera equipment, lighting techniques, and basic film production, often gained through coursework or hands-on experience.
