Job description

Controls Engineer - Allen-Bradley PLC (12-Week Contract)
We're seeking a Controls Engineer with strong Allen-Bradley PLC experience for a 12-week contract opportunity. This role starts onsite in Warren, MI, before transitioning to Auburn Hills, MI as the project progresses.
Responsibilities:
  • Program, troubleshoot, and debug Allen-Bradley PLC systems
  • Support new equipment build, integration, and controls debug
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams across both site locations
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and controls documentation
  • Assist with commissioning and start-up activities as the project moves from Warren to Auburn Hills

Requirements:
  • Proven hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming (RSLogix/Studio 5000)
  • Background in industrial controls, automation, or integrator environments
  • Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the 12-week assignment
  • Willingness to relocate onsite work from Warren, MI to Auburn Hills, MI as the project transitions
  • Strong troubleshooting and electrical/controls documentation skills
