The Materials and Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and goods throughout the company's supply chain operations. This position is responsible for coordinating inventory management and distribution processes and requires a high level of attention to detail as well as strong communication skills. In this role, you will liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and transportation providers to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and ensure that production schedules are met.

From processing purchase orders to overseeing warehouse operations, this position is essential to maintaining efficient logistics processes and supporting overall business objectives Receiving of MaterialsLoad and unload parts or containers from trucks as required Off load parts or containers from trucks as necessary Inspect incoming materials and documentation for accuracy and shipping damage Receive parts in SAP and assign them to work orders or stock Record excess materials (if applicable) in the inventory system and place them in designated storage locations Shipping & OutboundReview documentation for outgoing materials Confirm completion of instructions (vendor repair, shipment within MTU network, or customer delivery) Verify readiness for shipment and ensure safe and compliant packaging Warehouse & OperationsFulfillment of work orders, including picking of parts Deliver parts to designated workstations Manage warehousing of internally removed parts Support inventory cycle counts Connect parts with the Track & Trace system Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and improve supply chain performance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all logistics and inventory processes Leadership experience or potential is a plus, depending on the role Education and Experience:2-5 years of experience in materials management, logistics, or supply chain management preferredFamiliarity with industry practices, standards, and regulations in logistics operations Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics tools; SAP experience is an advantage Valid forklift license preferred Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule or volunteer for a permanent late shift Physical Requirements:This position involved pushing, pulling, standing, walking, fine motor manipulation, bending/stooping, etc.Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
