Job description

Job Summary:
As a maintenance generalist for Breakers Row One, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various mechanical components such as appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, hardware, windows, and doors. Additionally, you will fulfill resident requests by assembling furnishings, installing shelving, setting up electrical components like cable TV, internet connections, and phones/fax/printers in apartments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in general maintenance work
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including appliances, electrical, plumbing, and hardware
- Ability to perform various maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and coworkers
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair mechanical components in Breakers Row One
- Respond to resident requests for assembly of furnishings, additional shelving, and installation of various electrical components
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed promptly and to a high standard
- Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers regarding maintenance needs
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks
